This dive site is named after the 17th century Turkish vessel which was transporting amphoras full of mercury. Some very large ones can still be found in the coral heads at 28m/91ft deep. The other part that reminds of the ship wreck and can still be seen is the original anchor including inscriptions. There is also a small reef wall up to 10m/32ft which is followed by a gentle descending coral slope. At 12m/34ft there are some coral pinnacles covered in multi colored alcyonarians, creating a very nice coral garden.
