Tiger Rock is a beautiful dive site located in the Bocas del Toro area. This spot is a group of pinnacles, rock formations, and corals, with a variety of marine species inhabiting them. Lots of small fish can be found in the rock’s clefts, cracks, and channels.

When To Go Diving

Bocas del Toro has a tropical rainforest climate. The average air temperature is 27-29C/80-84F. Water temperatures range between 26-28C/78-82F. This area gets a lot of rain, but the driest months are September, October, February, and March. The wettest months are July, November, and December.

What to see

Some of the species commonly seen at Tiger Rock include blacktip sharks, tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, moray eels, grouper, and parrotfish.
