The Morgue is a dive site to the northeast of Flying Fish Cove, which is famous for its beautiful reef, numerous bomboras, and a dramatic wall at 25m/82ft. The drop-off is covered by various types of corals and sea fans, making this spot great for macro photography.

When to go

The Morgue has warm waters for diving year-round. The monsoon season is from December to April. The wettest time is February and March, when the surface is quite rough. The average sea temperature is 24-28C/75-82F.

What to see

There are abundant colorful tropical fish and other interesting fauna at the Morgue. They include blue ribbon eels, enormous triggerfish, thinspine grouper, angelfish, butterflyfish, and surgeonfish.
