The MatahariKu an Indonesian boat of Sunshine Cruise Company. You will explore waters surrounding Komodo Island and Raja Ampat.
Boat Interior
All cabins of The MatahaKu located on the lower deck. There are twin bed cabins that can be shared, double rooms and one master stateroom on the bow of the boat. Cabins are supplied with air conditioning and private showers. Bow cabin has more space comparable to other rooms on board and it suits perfectly for honeymoons. The MatahatiKu wooden salon is spacious, has cozy sofas. It is comfortable to chat with other divers relax and watch TV. There is an open air dining area where you can also enjoy the gorgeous view. Boats passengers can spend time on cushioned sun loungers, enjoy the warm sun rays.
Dive Deck
The MatahariKu Liveaboard has a convenient diving platform. Boat equipped with boxes to store your gear. There are separate rinsing tanks for equipment and for cameras.
Safety
Safety is a major focus of The MatahariKu crew. Boat has needed facilities like first aid kit, emergency rafts and life vests, team members trained in first aid.
Itinerary
Itineraries of The MatahariKu includes diving on Raja Ampat and Komodo National Park- the top destinations in Indonesia. Raja Ampat is a unique destination for diving. There is no other place that has such a variety of corals and fish. More than 537 coral species and 1,508 fish species living in its waters. Several types of sharks can be often seen here, including wobbegong that hard to see in other diving destination.
Komodo National Park is another attractive destination that MatahariKu offers. This is a world-known a place for diving. Big pelagic fish frequently met her. Also, it suits fo macro diving. Most of all this region is known for komodo dragons, large lizards that inhabited the island.
When to go
The high season for visiting Komodo National Park is from March to November. aLthough diving here is possible during all year. Raja Ampat is a year-round destination as well. Best conditions for diving there is from October to May.
