About Sithonia / Halkidiki

Sithonia, a second peninsula on Halkidiki, is located south of the central part of Halkidiki. The region features an exciting landscape with secluded coves and beautiful beaches that are also popular for camping. Sithonia is not that developed for tourists compared to Kassandra and Athos, although there are hotels of all standards, as well as some nightlife and different entertainment. The waters here are the clearest in the Mediterranean and make for a spectacular diving experience. There are some diving centers that will help to organize the diving. There are lots of diving opportunities for snorkelers and divers of all levels: wall diving, cave diving, reef diving, deep diving, and wreck diving.
