Great trip overallVerified review

I recently spent a week on the Emperor Seven Seas, and overall, it was a positive experience. The boat itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and the crew really stood out for their exceptional service. The dive guides and crew members were incredibly helpful and friendly - as my pressure gauge malfunctioned, they took me into town to buy a new one and fixed it on my first stage, which was much appreciated. The diving, however, was somewhat disappointing compared to what the Red Sea used to offer. The fish density was relatively low overall. We saw few small hammerheads spotted from a distance. The coral has unfortunately suffered from bleaching due to rising water temperatures, which was disheartening to see. The highlight of the trip was encountering a pod of dolphins during a safety stop—an unforgettable moment! The food onboard was tasty and plentiful, which made for enjoyable meals after a day of diving. The one downside of the trip was a personal mishap—some cash went missing from my bag. While I should have been more cautious and used the provided safe, it was still an unfortunate occurrence. All in all, it was a well-run trip with great people, but the underwater world isn’t quite what it used to be.
