Ras Turgueness's Reef

Ras Turgueness Reef is situated in Djerba and is a good dive site for beginners. Here divers can explore an interesting underwater landscape with reefs and corals and a diversity of marine life, including sponges, stingrays and various fish that inhabit the area or are passing through.

When To Go Diving

The best time for diving here is from March to November. Air temperature averages around 16-35C/60-95F. Water temperature averages 16C/60F (January-March) and 25C/77F (July-September), with an average water visibility of 10-30m/32-98ft. The average depth is around 10m/32ft. No currents.
