Powerstation is located off shore from the large power plant west of Kyrenia, north part of Cyprus. Underwater landscape features steep slopes, high rocky peaks, holes and cracks in the rocks and boulders. At the depth of approximately 31m/101ft there’s a large cave with a wide entrance. Its interior is decorated with a variety of colorful sponges. On the sandy bottom several rocks are covered by a magnificent growth of black sponges as well as sponges of other colors, providing shelter to numerous solder fish. Moving further to the outer edges of the site the predominant Neptune grass can be found. This location is very good for underwater photography.
