Petite Barge is located approximately 2km/1.2mi north of Saint-Gilles. The water visibility is good (20-30m/66-98ft) with low current. The average depth of the site is 53-54m/174-177ft.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round. The air temperature in the winter is around 28C/82F and 24C/75F in the summer. The average water temperature is 27C/81F from January to March and 23C/73F from July to September.

What to see

Divers can deep dive and explore the wreck which is populated by lobsters, rays, tunas, groupers, barracudas and moray eels. Only experienced divers should attempt this dive.
