All about Paramount Reefs dive site

Paramount Reefs is located on the eastern part of Cyprus in the region of Ayia Napa and Protaras. The site features two reefs that stretch parallel to the shore with a maximum depth of 7m/23ft and 14m/45ft. On the northern side of the reefs there is a large sandy clearing which can be utilized for training. There is also a moderate flat sand area between the reefs. Breams, groupers, wrasses, mullets, soldier fish, octopuses, moray eels, pipe fish, barracudas, fan worms and nudibranchs populate the area. This location is great for night diving and oyster hunting. The water visibility is good (10-30 m/32-98ft).

When To Go Diving

The water temperature in the winter is around 16C/60F and in the summer about 28С/82F. Diving season on Cyprus runs from May to November and the best time to dive is July through September.
