The climate in this area is tropical and arid. The monsoon season lasts from July to August. Summer in Karachi is very hot, so the best time to scuba dive is during the winter months from November to February. The average air temperature is 13-34C/55-93F, and the water temperature averages 21-28C/69-82F. Visibility is usually 2-9m/5-30ft, but in some places, the water is very clear and visibility reaches 30m/100ft. Currents vary but can sometimes be strong. What to see While scuba diving among the corals of various shapes and colors, divers may see seahorses, crabs, sea turtles, stingrays, stonefish, barracudas, and whale sharks.
