The best time for diving in Mauritius is from October to December and March to April, as though January and February are the are peak months for cyclone activity. From November to April the warm water attracts an abundance of marine life. Also during these months the underwater visibility is the highest making divers journey under the sea more pleasurable. Average air temperatures in summer varies from 25-32C/77-89F, and average air temperatures in winter varies from 20-23C/68-73F. The average water temperature during the year is 22-28C/70-82F.
