Le Spachis sank in 1887 due to a strong storm and is resting on the sea floor at about 20-25m/65-82ft depth, near the Fourmigue du Lavandou. Exploring the site divers usually find the boiler first at the depth of approximately 10m/32ft, before reaching the area with the rest of the debris. The wreck is in a poor condition, but the bow of the ship is still recognizable. The site is a find for underwater photography enthusiasts since it is overgrown with impressive corals and populated with multiple species of marine life. Diving at this site is available for all levels.
