This is one of the most popular dive sites on the French Riviera. Le Rubis is a French navy submarine, that now lies in 40m/131ft of water on a sandy bottom. Diving at this site is available for CMAS*** divers.The wreck is almost intact except for a few missing plates and stands on the conning tower. The marine life populating the wreck is diverse, including groupers, lobsters, moray and conger eels as well as many other species.

When to go

Diving at Le Rubis is at its best from May to November when the average water temperature stays around 20C/68F. The average depth of the site is 35m/115ft. Water visibility is excellent and reaches over 30m/98ft. Currents are medium, 1-2 knots.
