This site is just off a small island located in the middle of Frejus, Saint Raphael Bay. The southern side of it features a drop-off with lots of young coral formations found within small caves and dips, following all the way down to 40m/131ft depth. The local marine life includes barracudas, moray eels, groupers, scorpion fish, cleaner wrasses, cuttlefish, octopus, kingfish, mullets, capelins, corb fish, urchins, nudibranchs, starfish, snappers, goatfish, French bass and daurade fish.

When to go

The best time for diving is from May to November when the average water temperature stays over 20C/68F and the water visibility reaches 15-30m/49-98ft. The average depth of the site is 40m/131ft.
