The Klein Tafelberg Reef is an offshore rocky reef located near Cape Town in the Western Cape. It is also known as Salad Bowl or Yacht Reef. The site has a huge granite outcrop with big boulders and a sandy floor in the deeper areas. The reef structure provides a wide range of habitats and houses a large diversity of colorful invertebrates. It is a good area for underwater photography.

What to see

Rocky reef, a huge granite outcrop with big boulders. There are lots of great species to be seen here including several varieties of nudibranchs, seals, kelp, and some Hottentot and seabream.
