All about Gili Layar Barat dive site
Gili Layar Barat sits in southwest Lombok’s quieter island region, with reef slopes and coral patches close to small-island scenery. It offers a relaxed alternative to the busier northern Gili sites.
What to see
Reef fish, turtles, rays, coral bommies, butterflyfish, wrasse, moray eels, nudibranchs, and garden eels may be seen.
When To Go Diving
May to October is generally best, with drier weather and clearer water. Water is usually around 27–29°C.
