Launched in 2016, the MV French Polynesia Master is the latest member of the Master Liveaboards fleet.

Boat interior

The French Polynesia Master has 11 cabins and can accommodate 25 passengers. There are several rooms that can be converted, and you can book the entire cabin or share it with another diver. All cabins have their own air conditioning, private facilities, entertainment system, hair dryer, and a safe for personal belongings. The French Polynesia Master has a spacious and comfortable indoor lounge with a TV where divers can spend time after dives. There is also an outdoor dining area where meals are served. Use the comfortable sundeck to enjoy the view and get some sun. The ship has many lounge chairs and a jacuzzi.

Dive deck

The French Polynesia Master dive deck has lots of places to keep your diving gear, including under-bench boxes for masks, fins, and other personal belongings. There is a camera table for managing and preparing photo equipment and points for charging cameras. Divers can use showers for quick rinses after dives.

Safety

The French Polynesia Master has all the necessary items for safety, including first-aid kits, life jackets, and smoke detectors.

Suited for photographers

The French Polynesia Master is suited for photographers. There are a lot of underwater creatures in the waters of French Polynesia that attract photographers, including stingrays, blacktip sharks, and lemon sharks. The French Polynesia Master liveaboard has special facilities for working with cameras, including charging points.

Itineraries

The French Polynesia Master sails for 7 or 10 nights, and the itineraries include such great diving destinations as the Tuamotu Islands, from Rangiroa to Fakarava. Rangiroa is well known for the opportunity to see pelagics, eagle rays, and schools of sharks, tuna, and jacks. When diving in the Fakarava area, you have a chance to see hammerhead sharks, dolphins, and turtles.

When to go

You can dive in French Polynesia all year. The average air temperature throughout the year is 27°C/80°F. From December to June there is a risk of typhoons. From May to October, the temperature can be slightly colder.

If you are already an advanced diver, the French Polynesia Master can be a good choice for you. These diving destinations are less famous, but still fascinating and full of different

Excellent divingVerified review

The first days were chaotic with the first cruise director who , for me, doesnt have the fiber of a cruuse director and manager (!). When mark 2 arrived on the boat things changed very quickly . Thanks god ! Dive crew was very prof. Helpful . and friendly (anouk and sophie). Serge gave always appropriate dive briefings and was willing to change the dives when divers wanted to. Very professional , top! In the restaurant Na was overloaded by work maybe due to the non organisation more than by the work to be done . Marie was always smiling and willing to please and help clients (top!). Good spirit and hard workers ! Beautiful extra events organised by Mark on land and sundeck !! This is my fourth trip with the company and will surely dive back with WWDS. Thanks to everyone for these beautiful moments under water . That's why we are here right ?! Thanks a lot and take care xxxxx
