When to go to Sainte-Maxime

It is possible to dive Sainte-Maxime from May to November. The average water temperature is about 20C/68F from late May to mid November and visibility is usually 30m/98ft or better.

Scuba diving in Sainte-Maxime

Sainte-Maxime is located right on the northeastern edge of the Golf of St. Tropez and very close to both St. Tropez and Port Grimaud. The closest international airport is La Mole Airport that is located in 20 km. Sainte-Maxime offers a diversity of dive sites that suit divers of different levels. Divers get a chance to explore some good wrecks, impressive rock formations and deep pinnacles with a variety of marine life, including barracudas, moray eels, groupers, conger eels, crayfish and snappers. Among popular dive sites around Sainte-Maxime are The Rubis, Le Relax, Le Poursuivante, La Barge, Les Sardinaux, La Roche aux Homards (The Rock of Lobsters) and La Roche Rousso.
