Fantasea is one of the dive sites in Beqa Lagoon in Fiji. It is a spectacularly colorful corridor between 2 rocks full of sea fans and corals of all shapes and sizes. Whip corals, bubble corals, and gorgonian fans in many colors shelter lots of marine creatures.

When To Go Diving

Beqa Island, Fiji has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 28C/84F in winter (June to October), which is the best time to travel to Beqa Island. The average temperature from November to May is 35C/95F, and there are strong winds and heavy rains during this time. The average water temperature is 25C/77F.

What to see

Various schools of reef fish can be observed while diving at Fantasea. There are plenty of garden eels, orangutan crabs, nudibranchs, and shrimp hiding in the shallows and crevices of the reef. Divers can spot lionfish, blue-lined snapper, flatworms, damselfish, and anemonefish at this dive site.
