Escambron features reef diving, where snappers, grunts, colorful sergeant majors, batfish seahorses, crabs and shrimp may be observed. This dive site is one of the preferred locations for dive training, and generally is available for divers of all levels. The average depth of the site is 7m/23ft, currents are low, less than 1 knot. Visibility is medium, 5-10m/16-32ft. Escambron can be reached from shore, and is a good location for night diving.

When to go

Diving is possible all year round. Water temperature ranges between 23-26C/75-79F in the winter and 26-28C/79-83F in the summer.
