interesting week in the Maldives
Good trip with nice crew and guests. 3 days of the trip went to the Baa atoll. The dive spots there were not so thrilling. Food was excellent.

Exploring the central atolls
The EcoBlue and its dhoni are kept in top shape by its crew. Every thing from the engines to the compressors are immaculately maintained. Ropes are coiled etc. The rooms are spacious. Everything works from lights to showers. It is your heaven for the week. The dining area is comfortable and suitable for getting to know your fellow divers. There is a small bar with beer on tap if you are so inclined. The food was generally good. Some hits and some misses but certainly ample to fuel a days diving. The boats other relaxation areas were comfortable and well used. Dive briefings were good. All diving was from the dhoni which was well set up for the purpose. The guides Shakka and Marga were good and experienced. I never felt unsafe at any time. The diving itself was a mixed bag of average to excellent experiences. The highlights for me were the night dive with a manta, the kandu dives with sharks, the Moofushi Rocks manta cleaning station and the night Alimaatha Jetty dive with nurse sharks. The EcoBlue is a excellent boat with good staff. I would not hesitate to use them again on a different itinerary.

Great staff and food but the AC is lacking
A great trip, safe dive staff, and copious amounts of tasty food. However, we were let down by a very hot cabin (27 °C) every night that negatively affected our sleep quality. The advertised air conditioning was not functioning properly in the lower cabins. Some of the occupants from these cabins chose to sleep outside the boat due to the excess heat and lack of air circulation. Otherwise a good trip.
