Fowl Cay Preserve is a dive site located in the Abaco Islands. The site is located in the underwater Fowl Cays National Park. It is an amazing reef, where divers can examine lots of rock formations, towers, tunnels, coral heads, boulders, ledges, passages, swim-throughs, caves, and caverns. Scuba diving in Fowl Cay Preserve provides excellent opportunities to admire underwater flowers, sponges, kelp, and corals.
When To Go Diving
The Abaco Islands are suitable for tourists, because of the high temperatures throughout the year: 21-27C/69-80F in winter and 27-32C/80-89F in summer. The water temperature is approximately the same year-round. The rainy season is from May to October.
What to see
When diving at the Fowl Cay Preserve, divers may see blue tangs, grouper, snapper, lionfish, angelfish, turtles, batfish, and lots of other reef fish.
