Deep Throat is a dive site on Viti Levu Island in Fiji. Deep Throat is a cave that is not that easy to access. Divers start by entering a chimney at 27m/88ft of depth, which leads to the cave. All the marine species can be directly observed in the cave. Diving at Deep Throat usually means diving along a deep wall.

When To Go Diving

Viti Levu has a tropical climate. The average temperature is 26C/78F, and the best visibility (up to 30m/98ft) is from July to September. The warmest water is from November to April (up to 29C/84F).

What to see

There are a lot of marine creatures to be spotted there, such as gray reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, manta rays, pilot whales, and barracudas. The cave walls are covered with amazing purple fan corals.
