Reethi Thila
Rheeti Thila is located in the Ranveli Channel, south of Ari Atoll in the Maldives. This dive site has five coral blocks with channels and some overhangs. The length of the thila is 50-250m/165-820ft. The top of the reef is a nice place to stop and enjoy beautiful corals and plenty of fish. Rheeti Thila is a place where divers can benefit from diving without currents in the channels underneath the blocks.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Rheeti Thila year-round, but the best time is December to May. The water temperature is 26C/79F from February to July and 29C/84F in April, May, and September. June and July are rainy and don’t have confirmed liveaboards. There are strong currents from December to February.
What to see
Diving at Rheeti Thila is an opportunity to encounter sweetlips, lyretail grouper, emperor angelfish, blue-faced angelfish, and bannerfish.
