Green Wall
Green Wall is a dive site close to Palu in Indonesia that is known for its vertical wall covered by hard corals and gorgonians. The reef is beautiful here and the bottom is rocky, which makes it easy for various species to hide. There is a cleaning station at the bottom.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Green Wall year-round, but the conditions are more favorable from March to December. The rainy season is January to February. The air temperature averages 28C/82F, and the water is between 27-30C/81-86F.
What to see
Green Wall attracts grunts, grouper, angelfish, batfish, mackerel, moray eels, and boxfish. The most exciting fish are reef sharks, bumphead parrotfish, Napoleon wrasses, hawkfish, and lionfish.
