Basse Espagnole is one of the most precious reefs. It lies in the channel between Saint-Martin and Tintamarre. Diving here is available for all divers. Basse Espagnole is characterized by slabs of rocks that have become completely covered in corals that are full of abundant marine life, including juvenile sharks, lobsters, shoals of barracudas, and exceptional corals.

Diving is available year round. Average air temperatures are around 22-30C/72-86F. The water temperature averages 29C/84F in summer and 26C/79F in winter. The depth of the site is 5-14m/15-45ft. Average visibility is 10-30m/32-98ft.
