Gili Renggit (West)
Gili Renggit West is a dive site at Sekotong in Indonesia with protected coral and marine life. It features a beautiful reef and gorgeous healthy corals, including giant table corals. Snorkeling is possible at the shallower parts of the site. It is a great spot for macro photography. The diversity of macro life at Gili Renggit West is good for divers who like observing small creatures.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Gili Renggit West year-round, with the best time from April to November, during the dry season. The water temperature averages 27-30C/81-86F, while the air temperature is 26-28C/79-82F.
What to see
There are numerous nudibranchs in all colors, different types of shrimp and crabs, clownfish, anemones, bright sponges, and a myriad of small tropical fish. Occasional larger species include jacks, barracudas, tuna, and snapper.
