Menjangan Island
Pos 2 dive site, located off the south east coast of Menjangan island, features a steep drop off with two walls. The coral-covered walls have many small caves, nooks and crannies to explore. Lionfish, frogfish, shrimps, octopus and moray eels made this area their home. Big pelagic species can also be seen in surrounding waters. It is a great location for underwater photography.
When To Go Diving
Diving is available year round. The annual water temperature fluctuates between 24-29C/75-84F.
What to see
While exploring numerous small caves on the coral-covered walls, divers will have a chance to discover an interesting variety of their exotic inhabitants. Big pelagics, such as manta rays, reef sharks, barracuda and even the rare Mola Mola can also be seen in the area.
