Bodega de Fran
Bodega de Fran is located in front of small island covered with rugged rocks. After jumping to the water, you will find a sandy bottom at 14 meters. You will notice a number of large rocks, some of which with unusual shapes or placed on each other. Follow the rocks and observe the gaps between them. Following your guide you will reach a wide canyon with huge rock formation on one side and sloping reef on the other. There is normally no or little current
When To Go Diving
The best time to go is from June to October. The climate is mostly warm (between 25C/77F and 31C/88F) and humid with rainy season is September/October. The water temperatures average from 20C/68F to 25C/77F
What to see
Lobsters, crabs, sometimes turtles and small nurse sharks made this spot their home. Is also possible to find nudibranchs, worms, fire-crabs-spider, scorpion fish, triggerfish and groupers
