Liveaboard diving in
Flandres
Flandres is located in the south-eastern bay of Grand Berlengas Island. This site features wall and cave diving. The caves are inhabited by red gorgonians as well as dozens of fish species. The colored anemones can be seen on the walls and on the sandy seabed. The maximum depth of the site is 18m/59ft. The best water visibility is from August to October when it reaches 15m/49ft. Currents are low (1 knot).
When To Go Diving
The water temperature is 18C/64F during the summer months. The high season is from May to October with the air and water temperatures being at their most comfortable.
