Pechiguera
Wall
Pechiguera is located in Lanzarote, Spain. It's a boat dive in the subaqueous Grand Canyon of the Canary. The wall is covered with anemones, sponges and soft corals which are home to many types of fish. The most attractive part of this dive is the spotting of sea turtles. In the cracks of the wall divers can see moray eels, lobsters and other creatures. The average depth of the site is 16m/52ft and the maximum depth is 60m/197ft. There is a low current, around 1 knot. The water is clean with good visibility, 10-30m/33-98ft.
When To Go Diving
The best time to go is from June to October. The water temperature in the winter is around 18C/64F and 26C/79F in the summer. The average air temperature is 21C/70F in January and 29C/84F in August.
