Bambi is situated near the city of Kyrenia, which is on the North coast of the island. Divers can admire a beautiful 150m/492ft long reef surrounded by fields of Neptune grass, large round boulders and plenty of marine species. The site is suitable for divers of all levels and especially ideal for beginners. This location is also an excellent ground for night diving as the underwater activity often intensifies with predator fish coming out at night.

When to go

The best period for diving is from May to October, when the average water temperature reaches 27C/80F. There are no currents.

What to see

Reef with many nooks and crannies to observe among the rocks and boulders scattered around the sea floor. Local marine life includes large groupers, turtles, sea horses, cardinal fish, scorpion fish, octopus, yellow spotted moray eels, amberjacks and other species.
