Aqua Cat Liveaboard

Aqua Cat - a floating resort, great for divers and their non-diving fellow travelers. The boats offer numerous activities that include kayaking, snorkeling and island hopping. The experienced, attentive crew will guarantee a high level of services. Liveaboard features a variety of dive sites in Exuma Cays, that can be only reached by boats.

Boat Interior
Aqua Cat Liveaboard accommodates 30 passengers. On the lower deck, there are quads and 4 triples, 1 twin cabin and also 4 staterooms that are convertible and can serve as a double bed cabin or twin share room. All cabins supplied with private facilities and air conditioning. Cabin 11 has a skylight instead of an average window, with an awesome view. In between and after dives, passengers are free to relax in the boat’s salon,  supplied with a TV and DVD. There are special facilities for editing photos and videos that divers did throughout the day. Meals are served here. The beverage area distributes soft drinks and beer on tap and ice maker. The yacht has also an open-air Alfresco dive deck. This area uses for breathing before diving and it’s a perfect place to lay in hammoсk and enjoy a perfect sea view as well.

Dive Deck
The dive deck has the necessary facilities for divers to maintain their equipment. There are two showers and a rinsing host. The boat has a working table and separate storage for the camera and charging station.

Itinerary
Aqua Cat itineraries include sailing to the Exuma Cays, where divers have an opportunity to dive at Amberjack Reef and Cathedral. You will find such a variety of dive sites here that include walls, blue holes, wrecks. This area is famous for shark diving. The most common types are the Caribbean reef shark and the nurse shark. Also hammerheads, lemon, tiger sharks, bull sharks, whale sharks are frequent to see.

When to Go
Diving in the Bahamas is possible all year round. Water temperature between December and May is near 20 C and can be rather cold
