The Cap de Nice is about 600m/1968ft long. This site is positioned at the end of the cape. The top of a rock indicates the beginning of the dive. At 15m/49ft on the sandy bottom, at the back of the rock the diving trail begins a gentle descent to 25m/82ft. Between 35-40m/114-131ft divers may find fragments of pottery and small bottles dating back to the eighteenth century. The marine life occupying the site is very diverse and includes several species of gorgonians, shellfish, groupers, scorpion fish, morays, blennies, shrimps and octopus. This dive site is recommended for divers of all levels.

When To Go Diving

The best time for diving this site is from May to November. The water temperature is over 20C/68F starting from late May to mid November with visibility ranging between 15-30m/49-98ft. The depth of the site is about 40m/131ft.
