Playa Del Jablillo is located in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. The site features a unique environment where a large stone wall separates the bay from the open ocean and provides shelter from big waves and currents. Photographers and experienced divers will also find many things to enjoy on this easy and relaxed dive. Diving at this dive site is done from a shore. This site is an ideal ground for novice divers as well as advanced divers who favor night diving. This spot is ideal for junior divers and family diving.

When To Go Diving

The best time to go is from June to October. The average air temperature is 21C/70F in January and 29C/84F in August. The water temperature ranges from 18C/64F in February to 23C/73F in September and October.

What to see

Divers can explore the bay, wall and a large amount of creatures who found protection in this area which is now home to arrow crabs, starfish, octopus and sea hares and plays host to various shoals of colorful fish species. Along the wall there are barracudas, moray eels, sometimes rays and a wonderful underwater landscape.
