Paradise Jetty is an excellent muck dive site for beginners. The site is located next to the jetty of an abandoned hotel. The pillars are fully overgrown with sea fans. The black sandy bottom gently slopes down and is home to some remarkable creatures. There is a hot-water spring right below the jetty.

When To Go Diving

The best diving conditions at Paradise Jetty are from June to July and from September to November. The water temperature around Bangka Island averages 26-28C/79-82F. The air temperatures range from 27-34C/81-93F throughout the year.

What to see

Divers can usually spot different types of moray eels, leaf fish, scorpionfish, batfish, frogfish, snake eels, seahorses, and sometimes mimic octopi around Paradise Jetty.
