La Passe Du Puits (3-18m/9-59ft) is a dive site on the East coast of the island.
When To Go Diving
The best time for diving is November through May. The air temperature is about 25C/77F at night and 30C/86F or above during the day. The cyclone period is from December to mid-April although they are not particularly strong or destructive.
What to see
The site is reach with sea life including black jacks, big eye jacks, eagle sting rays, reef sharks as well as some other predators. Also, at this site divers can experience a unique sensation of “flying” with the current.
