Jemeluk is a bay dive site that is easily accessible and perfect for first-time divers. The coral garden is quite shallow and diverse, while there are also some artificial reef patches full of macro life. Later Jemeluk Bay leads to Jemeluk Wall, which drops down for 50m/164ft. Night diving is exciting at this site.

When To Go Diving

It is possible to dive at Jemeluk year-round, but the best conditions are from March to October. The average water temperature is 28-30C/82-86F, while the air is usually around 28C/82F.

What to see

Jemeluk has many shrimp, nudibranchs, crabs and lobsters living among its corals and anemones. The highlights of the species here are sea turtles, whitetip sharks, and barracudas. Other fish include moray eels, lionfish, grouper, bumphead parrotfish, triggerfish, and a myriad of tiny tropical fish.
