This is a pinnacle that is located on the southeast corner of Koh Chang, Thailand, and is one of the most popular dive sites around Koh Chang. It offers refuge to many groups and varieties of fish. There are moray eels, stingrays, parrotfish, fusiliers, large grouper, butterflyfish, bannerfish, barracudas, angelfish, sometimes dolphins, and many other fish. There are a lot of different options for diving, and the pinnacle is surrounded by huge boulders with interesting nooks and crannies to investigate. On the steep walls there are both soft and hard corals. This is an ideal site for night diving and for snorkeling or training dives. The deepest point is 25m/82ft, but most of the dives take place between 5-16m/16-52ft. It is a boat dive, which is suitable for divers of all levels of experience.

When To Go Diving

The average air temperatures are 30C/86F year round, with night temperatures around 20C/68F. The best time to dive is during the slightly cooler dry season, from November to February. From March to May, air temperatures start to rise to over 35C/95F. The water temperature does not vary too much during the year, averaging 28C/82F. The water visibility can vary from 5-20m/16-66ft. The current is weak, around 1 knot.
