Menjangan Island
Eel Garden dive site, located off the western tip of Menjangan island, is called after a big colony of white garden eels that live there along with other beautiful marine creatures. The dive site features beautiful coral reef with many small caves, crevices, drop-offs and flat areas, covered with stunning soft and hard corals. It is worth to take a deeper dive down to the sandy bottom in order to observe the eels. They poke their heads out from their burrows on the sea bed and because there are so many of them, their numerous heads resemble plants in the garden.
